Henri Selmer Paris Centered Tone B flat Clarinet and original carrying case

Description

​This is a vintage Henri Selmer Paris Centered Tone B flat Clarinet and it's original carrying case.  Serial number is Q5680 as visible in the photos, and is from somewhere between 1955 to 1957.
This instrument was played by my late father during some years of his high school and collage. He was a talented musician and might would have perused a professional music career, but ultimately chose a different path in life.  Some years ago it underwent a paid reconditioning by a professional.  Afterwards it was not played, and has been kept safely in its original case ever since.  Because of this, it is in effectively perfect condition.  The instrument is solid wood and metal, and has all the original parts.  My father took good care of his instruments, so it was already in exceptional condition when it was given for the reconditioning.  The outside of the carrying case is well worn and has some damage, but it's structure and interior is otherwise in functional condition.  Included are also some basic items that were in the case like extra reeds.  We ourselves are unsure if these items are still useful.
This is a refined instrument for a musician who is serious about their art.  My family and I would like to see it played again by a musician who would enjoy, value, and benefit from this beautiful clarinet.  If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
